Apple TV kann 5.1 Sound?
Scheinbar, traut man diesem Eintrag im Apple Forum.
Well here's a surprise. I have some DTS tracks in my iTunes library - all using 5.1 surround. These are uncompressed tracks stored as AIFF tracks (i.e. exactly the same as the original CD's).
Obviously Apple didn't test this, because although the signal is sent to the audio processor/receiver correctly, there's two really annoying problems:
1. Changing tracks while the clicking noise is enabled causes audio to drop out.
2. When you're done playing DTS, and select a stereo track, it doesn't send a signal to say it's not DTS! The only way out is to hold play, wait for the AppleTV to turn off, and start it again.
Apple, add that to your fix list, and thanks for letting DTS work!
