Bereits im Jahre 2006 hat Apple dieses schicke Patent eingereicht. Eine Docking Station inklusiv Display, der Computer, vielleicht das bereits in der Gerüchteküche kochende Sub-Notebook (MacBook Nano), wird einfach ins Displaygehäuse geschoben.

The housing defines a docking area configured to receive a portable computer; The docking area is at least partly obscured by the display when viewed from the viewing surface side of the display at an angle substantially orthogonal to the viewing surface"

Praktisch praktisch, so hätte man endlich wieder mehr Platz auf dem Schreibtisch und das ganze Angestecke an Monitor, Stromversorung und externe Tastatur bliebe einem erspart.
